Project
Braddock Library
A $1.75 million renovation of the historic Braddock Library, Andrew Carnegie’s first of more than 1,600 libraries. The entire renovation plan included much-needed physical improvements to enable the Braddock Carnegie Library Association (BCLA) to better fulfill its social mission as a responsive, essential place of community learning, development, and enrichment for the communities it serves. The adaptive reuse project included adding universal accessibility to all three floors of the building, upgrading windows and insulation, and modernizing the Music Hall.
